Petícia: Udržujte prísnu reguláciu a označovanie nových GMO!

I am deeply concerned about attempts to deregulate new GMOs produced by new genomic techniques (NGTs) due to the potential risks to human health and nature, and due to the number of outstanding unresolved issues on the table, i.e. patents, identification and detection methods, seed cost, seed diversity, coexistence, negative socio-economic impacts, and the risk of further control of the food chain by corporations.
I call on you to protect our farmers, breeders, as well as citizens and nature. All new GMOs must remain covered by risk assessment and monitoring, identification and detection methods, as well as traceability and labelling throughout the food chain. Countries must be able to ban or restrict their cultivation on their territory.
I call on you to reject and stop the deregulation of new GMOs/NGTs, reject Polish proposal.
